Tribute to Claude Dauphin
It is with sheer sadness and grief that we have learned about Trafigura’s Founder and Executive Chairman, Claude Dauphin, passing away on 30 September 2015. Mr Dauphin's generosity was evident at all times through his interest in our activities, in our projects and in the communities we serve. His unwavering support to the very idea of 'giving back' part of the company's wealth through the Trafigura Foundation has enabled us and our partners to effectively change the lives of thousands of impoverished, vulnerable or excluded people around the world. It is with intense gratitude that he will be remembered.
