Fundación Taular, Honduras
Education to Underprivileged Students

academic achievement but limited financial resources.
In 2005, they opened the Technological
Institute Taular, targeting adolsescents from the marginal urban
areas of Tegucigalpa. From 2009 to 2011, scholarships were
given to 769 students.
The Trafigura Foundation’s
support to the Taular Institute covers the costs
of:
- Purchase of
IT equipment for the computer lab
- Text books
and academic material,
-
Contribution to IT teachers and instructors
The Foundation will continue
its support until 2013 with the help of the local Puma
employees who desire to encourage and promote the
Taular programme.
